We connect you with local home chefs who cook real food in real kitchens — not industrial cloud kitchens. Instead of concentrating profits in one large business, we distribute orders across many nearby families, so good food and fair earnings reach the whole community.

The story

Built so the home chef next door can earn — not just one big kitchen.

India runs on ghar ka khana. But somewhere between dabbawalas and dark kitchens, the everyday home cook — the aunty making the best rajma in the neighbourhood — got left out of the food economy. Nomio is the platform that brings her back in.

Founded in May 2025 in Greater Noida by Rahul Kumar, Nomio connects food lovers with verified home chefs cooking in real kitchens. Orders are intentionally capped at around 25 meals per chef per day, so volume spreads across many families instead of concentrating in one large kitchen. Many of those families are women-led.

Today, 2,000+ customers across Delhi NCR order from 100+ home chefs on the platform — 10,000+ fresh, home-cooked meals so far, rated 4.7★ on average. Every order is a small vote for a different shape of food economy.
