Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Policy
Before Order Confirmation
You can cancel your order any time before the chef confirms it. You will receive a full refund within 5-7 business days.
After Order Confirmation
- Within 10 minutes: Full refund
- 10-30 minutes: 50% refund
- After 30 minutes: No refund (chef has likely started preparation)
2. Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- Order was not delivered
- Wrong items were delivered
- Food quality is significantly below standards
- Food is stale or spoiled
- Incorrect items were delivered
- Chef cancels the order
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Change of mind after order confirmation
- Incorrect address provided by customer
- Customer not available at delivery location
- Taste preferences (unless quality issue)
- Portion size (if as described)
- Delays due to weather or traffic
4. Refund Process
- Contact us through the app or email support@nomio.in
- Provide order details and reason for refund
- Our team will review within 24 hours
- If approved, refund will be processed to original payment method
- Refund will reflect in 5-7 business days
5. Wallet Credits
For instant resolution, we may offer wallet credits that can be used for future orders. Wallet credits do not expire and can be used for any order.
6. Partial Refunds
In case of partial issues (e.g., one item missing from a multi-item order), we will provide a partial refund for the affected item only.
7. Quality Issues
If you receive food that doesn't meet our quality standards:
- Report within 30 minutes of delivery
- Provide photos if possible
- We will investigate and process refund if valid
- Chef will be notified and may face consequences
8. Subscription Refunds
For subscription plans:
- Cancel anytime before next renewal
- No refund for current billing period
- Unused meals may be credited to wallet
- Refunds processed within 7-10 business days
9. Failed Payments
If payment was deducted but order was not placed, the amount will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
