3. Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Chefs: To prepare and fulfill your orders (including delivery address and area information needed for fulfillment)
• Delivery Partners: To deliver your orders. During an active delivery, a partner's real-time location may be shared with you in the app so you can track progress and estimated arrival.
• Payment Processors: To process payments securely
• Service Providers: Who assist in our operations (including maps and hosting providers that may process location-related requests)
• Legal Authorities: When required by law

4. Location Information

The Nomio mobile application (Nomio – Home Cooked Meals) may access location on your device. This section explains what we access, why, and how you can control it.

4.1 What location data we access

• Approximate location (e.g. network-based / coarse location) and, precise location (e.g. GPS / fine location) when you grant the relevant permissions on your device.
• For some users (such as delivery partners), the app may request background location access so that location updates can continue when the app is not in the foreground, only where this is supported by your device and you have explicitly allowed it.

4.2 How we use location data

• Customers: To determine your delivery area, show nearby home chefs and relevant menus, improve search and discovery, display maps, and provide distance or delivery-time estimates. You can often achieve the same by entering an address manually if you prefer not to use device location.
• Delivery partners: During active deliveries, to share live or periodic location updates with the customer who placed the order (for example, to show route progress and estimated arrival) and to operate dispatch and support features. Background location, if enabled, is used for this purpose while a delivery is in progress, not for unrelated advertising.
• Chefs and other roles: Where the product shows maps or area-based tools, location or address-derived coordinates may be used similarly to deliver the service you requested.

4.3 Sharing and retention

Location-derived information necessary to fulfill an order (for example, delivery address or tracking updates) may be shared with chefs, delivery partners, and service providers as described in Section 3. We retain such data only as long as needed for operations, safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, consistent with our retention practices for order and account data.

4.4 Your choices

You can disable or change location permissions at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Nomio → Permissions; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Location Services). If you deny location access, certain features (such as "near me" discovery or live delivery tracking) may be limited; you may still be able to use the service by typing addresses manually where the app allows it.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
