Milestones
- May 2025Nomio is founded
Rahul Kumar starts Nomio in Greater Noida with a simple thesis: India's food economy concentrates wealth in industrial cloud kitchens — it doesn't have to.
- Mid 2025First 100 home chefs onboarded
A verified pool of neighbourhood home cooks — most of them women — launch their first kitchens on the platform across Greater Noida and Noida.
- Late 2025Subscriptions go live
Weekly and monthly tiffin plans launch, giving students and working professionals predictable, affordable access to ghar ka khana.
- 2026Delhi NCR expansion
Service area grows to Noida, Ghaziabad, and pockets of Delhi — anchored to the same fair-distribution cap (~25 meals per chef per day).
Founder
Rahul Kumar — Founder & CEO
“A cloud kitchen serves hundreds while profits stay with one owner. Nomio is built differently — we spread the orders, so the prosperity is spread too.”
About Nomio
Ask anyone in India where the best food comes from and the answer is never a factory. It's somebody's ghar. Nomio is built on that answer. Founded in May 2025 by Rahul Kumar in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, it is a delivery platform where every meal comes from a named, verified home chef in the customer's own neighbourhood, with daily meals and tiffin subscriptions starting at ₹69 across Greater Noida, Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad. The cap is the product. Where industrial food delivery concentrates volume in a handful of cloud kitchens, Nomio limits each chef to roughly 25 meals a day — so demand spreads across many kitchens, food stays genuinely home-made, and growth converts directly into livelihoods. 100+ chefs — most of them women-led households — have supported 100+ families to date, serving 10,000+ home-cooked meals rated 4.7★ across 290+ reviews.
